Box contains several copies of illustrations made for Dary’s publication of Cowboy Culture, along with ordering pamphlets for Dary’s publication of the Buffalo Book. Also included are research notes for Living and Dying in the West and the proof for Entrepreneurs of the Old West. Inside small boxes within the box are slides containing images from Dary’s time working in Sudan.

Box includes university committee lists, including the consultative committee, discrimination review committees, undergraduate grievance committee, and the council of academic Dean's sub committee on financial exigency, and several councils on public relations, council traffic and parking and information on faculty affairs (faculty senate), Faculty senate COUP, general faculty grievance board, human subjects in research, and resource allocation.

Box contains material on university accreditation, materials contain confirmation letters, accreditation charts, and strategic plans. Additionally, the box contains regent reviews (primarily college of agriculture regent reviews volumes 2-4)

Box primarily contains records on the council of academic deans however it also contains records from the council of colleges of Arts and Sciences. Council records include minutes & Agendas, newsletters, and speeches.

Box contains records regarding committee, council, faculty affairs, grievance board files on topics such as public relations, discrimination, faculty affairs, resource allocation, and human subjects in research.

Contains several publication-related files, such as correspondence, reviews, publicity, and more information regarding Dary’s “Cowboy Culture” (1981) and research made for the book. Also included are documents regarding his shortwave radio career, his broadcast journalism career, and his time spent at the University of Kansas. Speeches made by Dary in Manhattan, KS and other areas are also included.

Contains documents regarding Dary’s thesis on journalist A.B. McDonald. Along with this, publication files and research regarding Cowboy Culture (1981) and Oregon Trail (2004) are included, as are personal files from Dary’s previous Dell computer and his time as a board member at Fancaster.
