With replacements came order for a new attack even though they had been losing men everyday and those left not fit to fight. At end of letter asks if Richard Long has any chance of beating Coolidge in the election. Mentions the Saturday Evening Post article and the mythical soldier returning home and how article isn’t accurate; tells parents how he appreciated all that they had done for him.
