In September, the Padys vacationed in Miami (Florida) and Stuart gave a presentation on October 4. 1967 - Wyoming trip in July while looking for pioneer camping places, historical markers, and Independence Rock. The diary mentions a 1963 car accident in western Kansas when Stuart and Rose had leg injuries.
