There are pictures on foam board of the Reagan and Bush staff as well as a plastic wrapped souvenir for Fitzwater from Egypt. There's a few empty poster boards and a statement written on foam board of Bush appointing Marlin Fitzwater to be his assistant. There is a collage full of letters and notes.

There is a newspaper of Marlin Fitzwater being proclaimed "Kansan of the Year" and another one of him being called "America's Mouthpiece". Two folders with the presidential seal on them contain Christmas cards to Fitzwater from the Bush family. There is a poster with the wording "From Wheat Fields to White House". There are many photos of Fitzwater on the front lawn of the White House. This box also includes a folder full of Fitzwater's flight certificates as well as many political cartoons, some of Fitzwater himself. There is many photos of the Reagan administration as well as a memento for Fitzwater from Air Force One: Flight Two. There is a hand-drawn landscape plan and many drawings and writings done by children about Marlin Fitzwater.

Includes letters to Fitzwater from Donald T. Reagan and political cartoons about Donald T. Reagan / the 1982 GOP Campaign. There's some New York and Washington Times articles printed onto heavy aluminum material, mostly all about George Bush. One was about Bush being elected and one was about Bush declaring victory over Iraq. There is also a Los Angeles Times article about Bush being elected. Two posters advertising Fitzwater's book signings were included as well as a low quality paper image of Fitzwater. A board map of Somalia and Djibouti is included as well. There is a foam sign that was handwritten in sharpie, as well as laminated and unlaminated newspaper clippings

includes many images printed on foam board of marlin fitzwater and the reagan administration which dates this to the late 1900s. some pictures also include former president bush. reagan's inauguration is pictured. there are three foam board posters. the first one has wording that reads: "call the briefing! reagan and bush, sam and helen: a decade with presidents and the press. marlin fitzwater". another looks to be the cover of fitzwater's novel "esther's pillow", and the last one is a picture of fitzwater outside doing research.

The collection documents the personal and professional activities of Marlin Fitzwater. He served as Assistant to the President for Press Relations under Reagan, and Press Secretary under George H.W. Bush. The bulk of the records in this collection were produced and/or collected by Fitzwater during his years in the White House and in the following years as a lecturer and author. Items include memos, speeches, interviews, correspondence schedules, reports, and other documents. Items of note include correspondence to and from Presidents Reagan and Bush, newswires, briefings, records documenting U.S. and Soviet relations, economic summits, and other foreign and domestic policy decisions made during the terms of Reagan and Bush, Gulf War of 1990-1991. Other items of note in the collection include World War II ration cards belonging of Marlin Fitzwater parents, speeches delivered by Marlin Fitzwater after he left the White House, manuscripts and research materials related to his books, photo albums and numerous photographs of the White House period, posters, and numerous memorabilia items.
