Custodial history
The materials have been in the department since before 1983. Accessioned in January 2015, the accession number is U2015.01. The materials likely came from the president's office, but documentation has not been found to verify this assumption.

These copybooks represent a great deal of the presidential and college administration correspondence between 1871 and 1901. Their condition is fair to poor with some conservation and digitization having already occurred. Further efforts will occur as funding allows.
