This selection features Alba, Brescia, Florence, Herculaneum (in Naples), Lecce, Milan, Ravenna, Rome (including Vatican City), Sicily (especially Palermo, Syracuse, Taormina, and Vallei de Templi), Taranto, Uffizi, Venice (from 1976 in particular), and a few photos from an unidentified origin. These photos were taken during O'Brien's travels and thus are mostly made up of features of the cities that she found noteworthy, as well as sites of particular anthropological interest. There are images of buildings (especially churches, museums, and government buildings), Greek and Roman ruins, statues, artifacts, and landscapes.
