Scope and content

This selection has the largest amount of images of all of the locations in the digital photos of this collection. The cities present in this order are Bad Staffelstein, Bamburg, Berlin, Colmar, Creglingen, Dachau, Eichstadt, Erfurt, Greifswald, Iphofen, Kelheim, Köln, Lubbeck, Meissen, Miltonberg, Nürnberg/Nuremberg, Prien, Rothenburg, Schleswig, Strasbourg, Traunstein, Volkach, Weimar, Würzburg, and a few photos from an unidentified origin. There are also 8 photo presentations. The first features Creglingen, Köln, Meissen, and Traunstein, the second features Erfurt and Weimar, the third features Prien and Versailles, the fourth features Würzburg, the fifth features Iphofen and St. Mary of the Vineyard, the sixth features Iphofen and is dated to 1995, the seventh features Rothenburg and is dated to 1995, and the last features Lubbeck, Griefswald, and Schleswig and is dated to 1995. These presentations seem to be composed of the other images in this collection.

These photos were taken during O'Brien's travels and thus are mostly made up of features of the cities that she found noteworthy, as well as sites of particular anthropological interest. Some of the photos are specifically dated to 1987, 1988, 1994, and 1995, though there were plenty of images taken at an unidentified time. These photo feature buildings (especially churches and historical structures), streets, statues, fountains, artifacts, art, Oktoberfest, and wide shots of landscapes and cities.
