Scope and content

This selection features Copper Canyon, Mexico City, Oaxaca, and a few images that likely were taken in one of these locations but were unable to be positively identified. These photos were taken during O'Brien's travels and thus are mostly made up of features of the cities that she found noteworthy, as well as sites of particular anthropological interest. There are many photos of buildings (especially churches), landscapes, streets, and pottery. The Copper Canyon photos were taken in 2008, and some of them are clearly labeled based on their subjects.
