Eight folders in Box 3. Contains Coffman's poems published in the Washington Post. Some poems are unsigned, others signed. Of note are those in the series <emph render='italic'>Songs of a Servant</emph>, unsigned and published between 1933-1936 and <emph render='italic'>Parade of States</emph>, 1933-1934, unsigned. There are poems for all states except Kansas which Coffman said he removed. There are numerous unpublished poems. Also included are short stories by wife Alta Coffman and an article by Robert T. Spike, son-in-law.
